The Hive Makes ("we," "us," "our") operates thehivemakes.com and all subdomains (*.thehivemakes.com), including calculator sites such as WoodCalc, BeeCalc, RunCalc, and others. This privacy policy applies to all of these sites.
Calculator inputs: All calculations run entirely in your browser. We do not send, store, or have access to any values you enter into our calculators. Your data stays on your device.
Email addresses: If you voluntarily subscribe to a newsletter via our email capture forms, we collect your email address. We use Buttondown (buttondown.com) to manage subscriptions. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
Request form submissions: If you submit a product request through our homepage form, we collect the text you enter and optionally your email. Submissions are processed through Netlify Forms.

We do not currently use any analytics services (Google Analytics, etc.). We do not track individual visitors. The only usage data we receive comes from aggregated AdSense reporting and GitHub Pages server logs, which do not identify individual users.
Our sites are static HTML hosted on GitHub Pages and Netlify. We do not operate databases or servers that store personal data. Email addresses collected via newsletter subscriptions are stored by Buttondown under their privacy policy.
